About the Community

Members of this exclusive community are mostly students/alumni of our online dog training program, "Welcome Home!", which includes this community and the on-demand course of the same name.

Because you'd be getting in somewhat early, you'll enjoy more personal attention and guidance from our trainers - without getting lost in the crowd:-)


Watch for weekly posts from Jenny of dog training tips and topics in our special section called, the Weekly "T"ea.

We have also invited some of our dog-training friends to join in on the conversation and help give different perspectives on some of the training questions you might have. 


As a "Welcome Home!" student, we encourage you to use the community to ask questions, post brags, and help out other members whenever possible... we are all in this together and here to help and learn from each other.

What is "Welcome Home!"?

It's our online dog training program that includes an on-demand video course and a private community; all for new puppy and dog owners

Group Moderators

Co-Founder Jenny S

Jenny is a professional dog trainer/behavior consultant, and a 'born to be small business owner', starting her first business with her husband, Jake, when she was just 22 years old. She has titled both a Belgian Malinois and a Basset Hound in the dog sport, Rally, but prefers to avoid the spotlight and instead focus on creating written materials and maintaining (beautiful) websites.

Co-Founder Jake S

Jake is a second-generation obedience trainer, an approved Canine Good Citizen Evaluator for the AKC, and has obtained the title, CPDT-KA "Certified Professional Dog Trainer-Knowledge Assessed". He is also a certified decoy and a sanctioned judge for the United States Mondioring Association, in which he has participated since 2008 - the same year he and his wife, Jenny, started their first dog training business.

  • How do I join this community?

    You either need to be a student of our "Welcome Home!" Program Course, or request special access personally from Jenny or Jake to become a member.

  • How much does it cost to join?

    Access to this community is included in your "Welcome Home!" program cost. If you are a dog-trainer friend of ours, it would be complementary with our approval.

  • When do we get access?

    You'll have access immediately upon sign-up, and as long as you stay in good standing (within the community guidelines), you'll have unlimited/lifetime access.
