I can't say enough great things about these trainings. They are very helpful and informative. You can use their suggestions on any dog no matter what breed or age they are. With the online trainings you are able to go back 12 mo to readdress the trainings to refresh yourself if you missed or forgot something, and if you need a little extra help you can always email them or use the course community to ask for help or suggestions.. **Remember to be proactive in your trainings so you don't have to be reactive AND Everyday there is an opportunity for training or what I call "manners" with your dog.

Co-Founder Jake S

Jake is a second-generation obedience trainer, an approved Canine Good Citizen Evaluator for the AKC, and has obtained the title, CPDT-KA "Certified Professional Dog Trainer-Knowledge Assessed". He is also a certified decoy and a sanctioned judge for the United States Mondioring Association, in which he has participated since 2008 - the same year he and his wife, Jenny, started their first dog training business.

Co-Founder Jenny S

Jenny is a professional dog trainer/behavior consultant, and a 'born to be small business owner', starting her first business with her husband, Jake, when she was just 22 years old. She has titled both a Belgian Malinois and a Basset Hound in the dog sport, Rally, but prefers to avoid the spotlight and instead focus on creating written materials and maintaining (beautiful) websites.

    • How tech-savvy do I need to be?

      Not very! If you can use email, you should have no problem navigating our website and online courses. Being familiar with ZOOM will be necessary to participate in any of our additional online services such as Live Q&A Sessions, Webinars, and 1-1 Virtual Lessons.

    • What is your training style?

      Balanced. We use mostly Positive Reinforcement, but we don't limit ourselves... there are 4 quadrants in operant conditioning that each has their place in behavior modification.

    • When do I have access to the course materials?

      You will have unlimited 24/7 access to the course and its private community inside your dashboard immediately when you enroll.

    • What kind of time commitment should I plan for?

      You can go through the coursework at your own pace; on average, students complete it in around 5-6 months... but if you're getting your puppy next month and want to be Proactive, you should plan to spend about 15-20 minutes per day (or 1.5 hrs per week) on coursework.

    • How much time should I set aside for training?

      Our goal is to fit your dog's training into your everyday life... once you've learned the material, you may only need to schedule 15-20* minutes a day to actively work with your dog. *Because young puppies require considerably more time than an adult, this may vary - at least for a while.

    • Do you offer a guarantee?
